Hey Babes!

It all started back in December when I made my Disco Balls with alcohol inks...I did not expect it but they took TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest by storm. And what better way than to bring them back for spring! Because what could be better than easter eggs that sparkle, shine, and that are colorful!

What are Alcohol Inks?

You might be thinking, ok Lauren what actually are alcohol inks and how do you use them?

Alcohol Inks, according to www.plazaart.com, "alcohol inks are fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol-based inks that are great to use on any hard, non-porous surface including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather and polymer clay. Once the ink is applied, the alcohol evaporates, leaving the dye behind."

Babes, when I discovered alcohol inks I just knew they were going to be amazing and the easiest DIY project; and not to my surprise they literally were! So now that I have thoroughly convinced you that alcohol inks are amazing and that you need to use them it's time to get creating.

What you need to create the Disco Ball Easter eggs

You don't need much for these Disco Ball Easter eggs. These beauties are LIFE. I can't get enough of them and I am thrilled with how they turned out! They are so vibrant and so pretty!

First things first — you’re going to need styrofoam eggs..... A LOT of them! I got mine from Dollar Tree but you can also get them on Amazon. Once you have your eggs you are going to cover them with the mirror tiles. I cut my sheet of mirror tiles in strips to cover the eggs but if you want to put them on one tile at a time that is all up to you.

Then once you have all your eggs covered you are going to grab some Elevated Inks from Glitter Heart Co. They are the SHIMMER alcohol inks and they come in ALL the colors. When you're ready to start, shake the inks like crazy, like I mean LIKE crazy. The shimmer glitter is at the bottom and you want that stuff all mixed into the inks for the BEST results.

Once you’ve shaken the inks you just take a makeup sponge and dab dab dab all around. Get creative!

Once the ink is dry to the touch the color is not going ANYWHERE!

But what else can you use with alcohol inks?

With alcohol inks the possibilities are ENDLESS!

These are just a few of my most recent projects I have used my alcohol inks for and I am always trying to come up with even more!

I hope you are now OBSESSED with using alcohol inks just as much as I am and that you loved creating these fun disco ball easter eggs!

Talk soon, babes!
